Event Learning Australia is pleased to be the leading provider in Australia of vocational training incorporating modern safety science theory and principles.

Course Requirements

Students are not required to have completed BSB41419 Certificate IV in WHS prior to enrolment however may be eligible for RPL of some units, if this is the case.

This qualification is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain an organisation’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) program. It also reflects the role of practitioners who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.

Language, literacy, and numeracy are required for diploma level and computer skills, e.g., basic word processing and the ability to access internet resources.

It is also recommended that you have prior experience in a safety role, which includes the development and review of safety systems.

A strong internet connection is required to complete this course. As the course is purely online, students will need to film/record themselves carrying out some tasks that require an oral communication skills assessment. This includes holding team meetings, presenting information to others, or other brief verbal communication tasks that will be required to be uploaded as directed during the assessment.

All online courses require participants to sign a declaration upon completion to certify that they completed the course independently.

The total hours needed to achieve the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety may vary depending on individual background and experience, but all learners must meet all the requirements as outlined in each unit of competency.
